How to add a pet

This is if you are directly (manually) adding pets to your shelter or rescue account. If you're uploading pets from your software program, add pets in your software only.

Adding a new pet is as easy as 1-2-3!

1. Log in to your shelter/rescue's Adopt a Pet account.
2. From the "Add Pet" menu, select the type of pet  you want to add. 
3. Fill in the fields and browse to select photos, then click the "Add" button at the bottom.

Pro Tip: While this can be done from your mobile device, it's easiest when done on a computer. 

1. Log in to your Adopt a Pet shelter/rescue account
2. Once logged in, from the green menu bar click "Add Pet", then select "Add Cat" (or another pet species). 
3. Fill in the form with the pet's information; only the orange labeled info is required. 
4. Add "Pet's Photos" (you may add up to four photos for each pet). In the blue box on the right of the form, click on a "Choose File" button. 
5. A window will then pop up, navigate to the photo file on your computer, click on the photo file you wish to upload. Repeat to add any additional photos (four photos total). 
6. Click the "Add this Cat!" (or whichever pet type you are uploading) button at the bottom.
