What happens if a sample fails testing?
Sample status on your shelter’s dashboard will show as “Failed.” Resubmission of a new sample using a new swab kit and sample ID will be required.
Who pays for sample failures?
Sample failures are typically due to poor sample quality, and incur the same processing costs at the laboratory, so shelters are responsible for resubmission of samples using a new swab kit and sample ID. Which dogs should I test with Wisdom Panel™?
It is up to your shelter to decide which dogs to test. Most shelters choose to test primarily long stay, difficult to place, or large-breed dogs, but each shelter’s needs are different.
