Is there a Press Release Template I can use to promote Rehome by Adopt a Pet?

We’re excited you want to refer relinquishers to Rehome! There is absolutely nothing you need to do to participate other than have an approved shelter/rescue account with Adopt a Pet.  If your animal welfare organization does not have an account on Adopt-a-Pet.com yet, you may apply for one by visiting http://www.adoptapet.com/shelter/terms_conditions_signup.html

We’ve created a sample media release you can copy and edit any way you’d like and send to your local media outlets.   You will need to make a copy of the template so that you can add in your organization's information.

To edit in Google Docs:

1. Open the link here
2. Click "File" located on the upper left-hand menu
3. Select "Make a copy" from the dropdown

To edit in Microsoft Word

1. Open the link here
2. Click "File" located on the upper left-hand menu
3. Select "Download" from the dropdown
4. Select "Microsfot Word (.docx)
